CONE BEAM COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a valuable source of 3D digitally simulated data and an imaging method that continues to grow in popularity amongst Orthodontic Care Providers. This digital method is an option for KRSTL case submissions, meaning that CBCT data is embedded into the KRSTL 3D plans.
Orthodontic diagnosis, treatment and follow‐up data derived from the CBCT method is far more detailed and reliable than data produced through conventional radiography. CBCT generated designs produce superior aligner treatment plans, allowing more control over the force systems and root movements.
